How many pumpkin and gourd pieces does a front porch need?
Compare pumpkin and gourd counts for small stoops, steps, and wide porches. Choose a package size while keeping the doorway and walking path clear.
Mother Pam looks at your doorway, steps, and the view from the sidewalk. More pumpkins only help when the porch has room for them.
The Statement includes 30–35 pumpkin and gourd pieces, The Envy includes 55–65, and The Estate includes 80–90. The best fit depends on where those pieces can go while leaving room to use the entrance.
Start where the neighbors stand.
Look at the entrance from the sidewalk or usual approach. An arrangement that feels full beside the door can seem small from farther away. Door width, columns, porch depth, and the distance to the street all affect the scale.
A long walkway does not need pumpkins along its entire length. Start with the main display. If you’d also like a separate area decorated, ask Mother Pam about the second-space extras and whether they will fit.
A small stoop can make a good entrance.
A focused grouping beside the door or around an existing planter can give a small entry its fall character. The Statement is the first package to compare, provided there is enough usable room.
Check the standing area and any outward-opening storm door. If those spaces would be crowded, adding pumpkins will not improve the arrangement. Mother Pam can help assess the fit.
Count usable step space.
Four steps do not automatically call for a particular package. Deep, wide treads have more room for pumpkins than shallow steps with handrails. You still need space to walk and reach the rails.
The Envy is a useful starting comparison for a standard porch or double-door entrance. Mother Pam also considers the landing, door movement, and where you actually stand when coming home with groceries.
A wide porch can carry more.
A wide porch, columns, and deep steps may have room for several groups of pumpkins. The Estate is our fullest display, with more pieces to spread across the entrance.
Existing planters and furniture help shape the display. Tell Mother Pam what needs to stay, and she’ll plan around it. There’s no need to fill every empty spot.
Match the arrangement to the entrance.
Start with the space you use every day. These are placement decisions to discuss, not instructions to fill every available surface.

Thirty mixed pieces are not thirty carving pumpkins.
Each package count includes every pumpkin and gourd, from large pumpkins to the smallest pieces. Seasonal plants and straw bales are separate inclusions. The mix can include orange, white, cream, and heirloom varieties, plus true minis and ornamental gourds where the harvest supplies them.
Sizes, color, spacing, and placement all affect the finished look. Compare the material mix and service as well as the count.
Plant colors and sizes vary. The amount and arrangement of straw depend on your porch and the space it can safely hold.

Choose the package that seems closest. You don’t need photos to book, but they help when you want advice. A straight-on photo and a view from the approach can tell us more than a pumpkin count alone.
