You choose optional tracking

Necessary checkout, security, and privacy-choice storage supports the service you ask for. Google Analytics and Meta advertising are optional. Their scripts do not load until you allow the corresponding category.

Use Cookie choices to reject optional tracking, allow either category separately, or accept both. Browsing or closing a page is not consent. We ask again after 180 days or when a material change requires a new choice. Blocking site storage leaves optional tracking off. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep optional tracking off even if a saved preference says otherwise.

Necessary storage

Checkout uses short-lived, secure session cookies and expiring private links so you can review your quote, return to a payment attempt, and avoid duplicate orders. Stripe and our security providers may use cookies or device signals to provide payment and fraud protection. Rejecting optional cookies does not switch those necessary functions off.

We store your cookie choices in your browser for up to 180 days. We may retain a limited analytics identifier and a pending withdrawal request in browser storage so a later opt-out can be applied to eligible booking analytics. A successful withdrawal clears those local identifiers; a failed request is retried and displayed so you can ask for help. Our server keeps a hashed suppression record to prevent future reporting under a withdrawn identifier.

Browser storage for an active checkout is separate from retention of the order. Expiring a cookie does not delete contracts, payments, or tax records. See the Privacy Policy for record retention and deletion requests.

Optional analytics: Google Analytics

When allowed, Google Analytics measures visits and selected actions, including eligible booking and refund events. Its first-party cookies include _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement identifier. We configure their lifetime to 180 days; activity can refresh that lifetime. Consented first-touch campaign context is stored for the tab session. Google also processes technical information when its script is used.

The Privacy Policy describes the event information shared. Google advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our tag configuration. We do not treat a cookie identifier as anonymous merely because it does not contain a name. Booking analytics requires recorded analytics permission and checks our withdrawal record before sending; an order without that evidence remains in our business records without being sent through that reporting path.

Optional advertising: Meta

When allowed, the Meta Pixel supports measurement and Facebook and Instagram advertising on eligible public pages. Meta may set _fbp and, following an eligible ad click, _fbc. Meta controls these cookies’ lifetimes and may refresh them with activity; its Cookie Policy describes their current behavior. Meta may also use its own cookies if you are logged into its services.

Meta is excluded from checkout and private payment or account links. Declining advertising leaves the service available. We do not activate Meta merely because you accepted customer terms, paid, or joined the Porch List.

Change or withdraw a choice

Open Cookie choices at the bottom of any page or use the button below. Reject optional switches off future optional browser tracking and removes analytics and advertising cookies accessible to this website. It also requests withdrawal for eligible booking-analytics identifiers available in this browser. If that request fails, we show a message and retry it; you can email hello@motherpamsporches.com for help.

A choice on one browser does not automatically identify your other devices. Information a provider has already received is not recalled by deleting a cookie. For an existing order, another device, or deletion of information already collected, contact us. You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working.
